Cardus Marianus


Biennial plant with tall and erect stem known for its invigorating properties. The leaves are large with thorny edges. The flowers are purple-red in color. The leaves collected in spring and dried in a ventilated and dark place are used for the preparation of decoctions.

DECOTTO PREPARATION - put the leaves or flowers in cold water and bring to a boil. Leave to boil for 5 minutes. Filter.
